Moussa Drame
Founder - President
Moussa is from Côte d'Ivoire (West Africa). He has a master's degree in Economics from the National University of Côte d'Ivoire. He has been a teacher and an assistant director at The International School of Tucson since 2006, working mainly with preschool and kindergarten aged children in a French immersion program. Since 2007, Moussa has also worked as a Direct Support Professional for Easterseals Blake Foundation, working with individuals with disabilities in Tucson,Arizona. He was officially recognized as Arizona's 2017 Direct Support Professional of the Year through the Department of Economic Security (DES), nominated by his colleagues at Easterseals. Moussa has lived in Tucson since 2006 with his wife and four children. He founded this charity to improve the lives of people in need in Côte d'Ivoire and travels to Africa at least once per year to personally make sure that all donations reach the people in need in a timely and effective manner.
This organization is dedicated to his late mother Nanan Traore and father Ali Drame who devoted their lives to helping others
Chrystina Cook MD
Vice President
Dr. Cook lives in Tucson, Arizona with her teen-age son Ben, who was taught by Moussa Drame in kindergarten. She has remained friends with Moussa and his family over the years and is excited to take part in his efforts to help the disabled in Côte d'Ivoire. She is a medical director for Molina Healthcare.
Phil Ortiz
Secretary
Phil was an independent business owner in the security field before working in the behavioral health field. He enjoyed working with the Easter Seals Blake foundation for over 12 years where he assisted individuals with behavioral challenges and traumatic brain injuries. While working as a Program Coordinator with ESBF he was a pastor for Azusa World Ministries and then pastored a local church until retiring.
Yvonne Gubersky
Treasurer
Yvonne was born in Palo Alto California. She grew up in a suburb of Montreal Canada with her family after her father was relocated. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at McDonald Campus of McGill University where she met her husband. They relocated to Tucson Arizona in 1995 where Yvonne continued her education, obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2003 and has been working at the bedside ever since. Yvonne currently works in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit of a level one trauma hospital in Tucson. It allows her to care for a variety of patients at their most vulnerable time during recovery from surgery.
